By design, we are biologically and neurologically “wired” to experience life as an infant who grow up to be a child, who grows up to be a young adult, who becomes a parent (even a spiritual parent), who grows up to become an elder. This life cycle is dependent on receiving the love we need in safe relationships of trust.
